Congratulations to Jason Orozco, an Architect II in the Major Projects Division, for recognition as the DGS April 2018 Employee of the Month!

Jason began working for the city in 2015 after a stint as an architect in the private sector. The initial adjustment from private to public was challenging as he took on more managerial duties upon coming to DGS. When asked about his work he said, “I work with a great group of caring, trustworthy individuals. The pleasure of seeing them each day is what brings me back to the office.”

One of Jason’s favorite times of the year is the annual Major Projects potluck around the winter holidays. Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family. He is married with three children, and loves photography. Jason said, “I always have my camera with me wherever I go.”
